Sisters Ariel and Cali Olea founded Lumina-Flux with a simple goal: to create software that solves real problems without creating new ones.

Long before Lumina-Flux existed, technology was already part of everyday life. Ariel and Cali’s mother, Samantha Olea, was a web developer with more than 26 years of experience in the field. She taught them everything they needed to know about web development. From client projects and website launches to troubleshooting and long development nights, they saw firsthand the challenges that businesses, agencies, and developers face every day.

What began as exposure eventually became experience.

After graduating from college and entering the industry professionally, Ariel quickly discovered something surprising: many of the same frustrations that had existed for years were still there. Teams were relying on tools that were either overly complicated, poorly organized, difficult to understand, or built in a way that didn’t align with how people actually work.

The technology itself wasn’t the problem.

The problem was that too many solutions prioritized features over usability and complexity over practicality.

Whether speaking with agency owners, developers, designers, or small business owners managing their websites, the same challenges surfaced again and again. Workflows were fragmented. Important tasks took longer than they should. Instead of being supported by the software, people spent valuable time working around it.

One question kept coming up: Why are people still struggling with the same problems? After waiting years for better solutions to appear, Ariel and Cali decided to stop waiting and start building.

That’s how Lumina-Flux was born.

Lumina-Flux is the brainchild of owners Cali & Ariel Olea. Working alongside trusted advisors and experienced professionals—including veteran web developer Samantha Olea—the team maintains a relentless focus on testing, usability, and reliability.
